Tucows Domains seeks a passionate Software Engineer - Frontend to develop user-focused web applications. The role involves creating and refining web components, ensuring high standards of appearance and usability. Responsibilities
Develop user-facing features using front-end technologies, aligning them with project requirements for an enhanced user experience.
Translate design concepts with UX/UI designers into interactive web components.
Optimize user interfaces for efficiency and scalability, focusing on responsive and adaptive design principles.
Collaborate with back-end and full-stack developers to ensure cohesive platform functionality.
Create reusable and modular components to aid the evolution of the company’s product offerings.
Engage in the code review process, offering feedback to improve code quality.
Collaborate with engineering leads, product owners, and project managers for a consistent product development lifecycle.
Stay informed about the latest technologies in web-based applications.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years experience delivering high-quality software solutions.
Strong understanding of modern JS frameworks, such as React.js and Vue.js.
Experience in developing unit tests.
Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/SCSS).
Familiarity with build and package management tools like Vite, Webpack, Babel, or npm.
Experience in consuming RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of responsive web design principles and accessibility.
Experience with version control using Git.
Skilled in illustrating workflows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups.
Experience using Figma or similar tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug issues in web applications.
