CoreWeave is seeking a Sr Backend Engineer - Cloud Platform to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our backend systems. This role is pivotal in enhancing the performance and efficiency of our cloud applications. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and databases.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features.

  • Optimize existing systems for performance and reliability.

  • Participate in architectural discussions and guide technical decisions.

  • Write and review high-quality, maintainable code.

  • Ensure the security and efficiency of backend systems.

  • Debug and resolve production issues efficiently.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in a senior or tech leadership role.

  • Experience building reliable and scalable platform services.

  • Proficiency in Go or Python.

  • Experience with Kubernetes and its components.

  • Passion for problem-solving in fast-paced environments.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.

  • Solid understanding of database design in SQL and NoSQL databases.

  • Ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment and mentor others.
